The first two teams to secure their spots in the Euro 2024 quarter-finals have been confirmed following Saturday’s Round of 16 matches.
Germany advanced with a 2-0 victory over Denmark in Dortmund. After a goalless first half, Kai Havertz scored from the penalty spot, followed by Jamal Musiala netting his third goal of the tournament. Germany will face the winner of the Spain vs. Georgia match.
In another surprising result, Switzerland defeated Italy 2-0 and will meet the winner of the England vs. Slovakia game in the quarter-finals.
