Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu, has spoken out to dispel the notion that he harbors any animosity towards women.
This comes in the wake of comments made by actress Yvonne Jegede, who suggested that Nedu was critical of her following her public apology regarding statements she made on ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast.
In a video posted on his Instagram, Nedu expressed, “In the past episodes [of The Honest Bunch podcast], I must have said some things that upset a few people that has led to some of you saying I hate women.
“I don’t hate women. I don’t. My manager is a woman, I’ve got three beautiful daughters, and pretty much everyone around me is a woman. So I don’t know where all that thinking is coming from.”
Nedu’s team also issued a warning to Jegede, advising her to refrain from making defamatory statements about him, and clarified that she was not coerced into making any comments during her appearance on the podcast.
