In a heartfelt exchange with Hoda Kotb on the Today Show, the 56-year-old icon expressed her commitment to live performance, stating“I’m going to go back on stage, even if I have to crawl. Even if I have to talk with my hands, I will. I will,”
Dion, who has been privately dealing with Stiff Person Syndrome for nearly two decades, only recently disclosed her condition to the public.
The celebrated singer, who went public with her diagnosis in 2022, admitted that she has been coping with the symptoms since 2008.
Describing the severity of her condition, Dion shared that it often feels as though she is being constricted or strangled.
Moreover, Dion revealed the physical toll of her ailment, noting that she frequently endures cramps and has sustained broken ribs as a result.
