Nigerian music star David Adeleke, known to fans as Davido, has officially announced his wedding date with fiancée Chioma Rowland.
The much-anticipated traditional wedding is scheduled to take place in Lagos on the 25th of June, 2024.
Confirmation of the wedding date came through a heartfelt video that spread rapidly on Tuesday, where Davido excitedly told his fans, “Guys, you have to come to Nigeria on the 25th [of June] for my wedding.”
The announcement follows the joyous news of the couple’s twin arrival last year, which added to their family’s happiness.
The engagement of Davido and Chioma came as a beacon of hope following the tragic loss of their first son, Ifeanyi, who passed away in a swimming pool accident at Davido’s residence in Lagos in 2022.
