The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of 3,921 more results for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
In a statement on Sunday, June 2, 2024, JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin revealed that 24,535 candidates will retake the UTME due to malpractices at certain centers during the initial exam.
“The rescheduled candidates are to print their supplementary Examination Notification Slip from Tuesday, June 4, 2024, to ascertain their designated examination centres,” Benjamin stated.
This latest release brings the total number of results released to 1,883,350. The rescheduled exam is set for Saturday, June 22, 2024, allowing affected candidates time to prepare.
Candidates can check their results by sending RESULT to 55019 or 66019. Those cleared will have their results, while those rescheduled will receive a new exam date.
Previously, JAMB announced the release of the 2024 UTME results on April 29 in Abuja. Of the 1.94 million candidates who took the exam, only 0.4% scored above 300, while 24% scored 200 or above.
