American music producer and business mogul Sean Diddy Combs is facing a new lawsuit for sexual assault filed by former model and beauty queen Crystal McKinney.
This lawsuit follows closely on the heels of reports about Diddy apologizing for a recently surfaced surveillance video showing him physically abusing his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.
Filed in New York, McKinney’s lawsuit claims that Combs drugged and sexually assaulted her during a New York Men’s Fashion Week event in 2003.
McKinney, who was 22 at the time, alleges that Combs approached her in a “sexually suggestive manner,” leaving her confused but hopeful that he would help advance her career.
McKinney asserts that Combs invited her to his studio, offered her marijuana laced with narcotics, and then led her to a bathroom where he forced her to perform oral sex.
She claims to have lost consciousness and later woke up in a taxicab heading to her then-designer’s apartment, realizing she had been sexually assaulted.
The allegations add to the mounting legal troubles facing Combs.
