The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is on the verge of releasing the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.
A press conference is slated for Monday in Abuja, with JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, addressing the media on the results’ release and other pertinent topics.
The announcement was disseminated to the press by Fabian Benjamin, the Board’s Head of Public Relations, on Sunday.
It is anticipated that the results disclosed on Monday will pertain to those candidates who sat for the UTME during the initial days of the examination.
The remaining results are expected to follow once a comprehensive review process is completed.
JAMB has previously stated that the slight delay in releasing the results was to ensure a meticulous evaluation process.
This step is aimed at upholding the results’ authenticity and integrity, thereby eliminating any concerns related to fraudulent activities such as impersonation, mixed biometrics, and other exam malpractices.
Over the last week, the 2024 UTME saw registrations from more than 1.9 million candidates at upwards of 700 Computer-Based Test centers across the country.
The examination, which began on April 19, 2024, is scheduled to conclude today.
