A recent court session in Abuja led to the remand of Tigran Gambaryan, a Binance executive, to the Kuje Correctional Centre.
This order will stand until a decision is made on his bail application.
Presiding over the case, Justice Emeka Nwite issued the remand directive following Gambaryan’s plea of innocence to the accusations of money laundering brought by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
The court has scheduled April 18 to deliver a verdict on the bail plea and set May 2 as the start date for the trial.
