The Joint Action Committee comprising the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational And Associated Institutions (NASU) and the Senior Staff Association of Universities (SSANU) has officially halted the seven-day warning strike initiated by both unions since Monday, March 18, 2024.
In a press release jointly signed by Prince Peters Adeyemi, the General Secretary, and Comrade Mohammed Ibrahim, the President of SSANU, the announcement was made available to the Education Writers Association of Nigeria (EWAN) on Sunday evening.

According to the statement from the JAC, the warning strike is scheduled to conclude at 12:00 midnight on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
