Abayomi is facing accusations of stealing valuable items worth millions of naira from the ex-governor’s residence in Ikoyi.
Chief Magistrate Peter Nwaka presided over the proceedings at the Sabo-Yaba Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Monday, issuing a remand order for Abayomi at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre for a period of 30 days.
