A prominent figure within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, Senator Abubakar Danso Sodangi, has passed away.
The former senator, known for representing Nasarawa West for 12 years in the Nigerian Senate, breathed his last on Sunday at the age of 70.In 2023, Sodangi played a pivotal role as the Chairman of the Campaign Council for the re-election of Governor Abdullahi Sule.

He was initially elected Senator in the Nasarawa West Constituency of Nasarawa State in May 1999 and went on to secure re-election in 2003 and 2007.
Senator Sodangi was actively involved in various professional bodies, including the Commonwealth Bar Association, the African Bar Association, the International Bar Association, and the Defense Institute.
His contributions and dedication to both politics and professional endeavors leave a lasting legacy in Nasarawa State and beyond.
