Police Arrest Three Officers for Alleged Corruption and Extortion. The police force has taken swift action against corruption and extortion allegations by apprehending and investigating three officers accused of fraudulent activities against an Abuja resident, Omoh Osoke.
The accused officers, Inspector Francis Ahuean, Semiu Agbaakin, and Osagie Efford, affiliated with the FID-STS unit, are facing serious allegations of armed robbery, abduction, and extortion.
According to a statement released by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the arrested officers and their accomplices, including POS operator Elizabeth Amos Busayo and informant Thomas Michael, are currently undergoing trial following thorough investigations.
