Reuben Abati, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and current television presenter, has expressed criticism towards the sons of President Bola Tinubu, Seyi and Yinka, for their frequent presence at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
During a segment on Arise News Channel’s ‘The Morning Show,’ Abati conveyed his disappointment with the President’s sons for not establishing their own careers and relying on their father’s status.
Abati highlighted the importance of self-reliance and independence, sharing his personal achievements at a young age as a contrast to the President’s sons’ current situation. He encouraged them to engage in productive activities and to carve out their own paths in life.
“We must question what the president’s children do for a living. By their age, I had achieved significant milestones in my life, including earning a PhD at 24, without relying on any father.
“People need to reach a stage in their lives where they can stand independently. It’s unacceptable for adults to linger around like invalids simply because of their father’s position”, he said.
