In a recent development, Vice President Kashim Shettima experiences the loss of his stepmother, Hajja Hauwa Abba Kormi.
Hajja Kormi, aged 69, passed away following a prolonged illness, leaving behind five children, several stepchildren, and grandchildren.
The statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communication, Office of the Vice President, indicated that the Janaiza prayer was scheduled for 4:00 pm Thursday, at Shettimari, Lawan Bukar, Maiduguri, Borno State.
The statement also conveyed prayers for the Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased her shortcomings and grant her entry into Jannatul Firdaus.
