President Bola Tinubu has extended his congratulations to Aliko Dangote for being awarded the National Order of the Lion by Senegal.
The President of Dangote Group will receive the honor from President Macky Sall of Senegal on Friday. Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, announced this in a statement in Abuja on Thursday.

Tinubu praised Dangote for his entrepreneurial spirit and innovation, which have generated employment opportunities in Nigeria and across West Africa. He sees the award as recognition of Dangote’s significant contributions to Senegal’s economy and wishes him success in his future endeavors.
Dangote Cement operates a factory in Pout, approximately 60km from Dakar, with a production capacity of 1.5 metric tonnes per annum, as reported by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
