A child was feared dead on Wednesday following a building collapse at 10, Cameroon Street in Mushin, Lagos.
Seven other residents were reportedly rescued by sympathizers from the rubble.
A local resident attributed the collapse to heavy downpours in many parts of Lagos.
The Lagos rescue team had yet to respond to emergency calls at the time of filing this report.
