The recent autopsy conducted on the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, known to fans as MohBad, has shed light on potential factors contributing to his untimely demise.
Performed at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), the autopsy involved comprehensive toxicology screenings, examining MohBad’s gastric contents, blood, and various organs.
Despite the discovery of an injury on his right forearm and the body’s moderate to severe decomposition, the autopsy could not definitively pinpoint a cause of death.
Interestingly, the toxicology analysis detected the presence of Diphenhydramine, a common anti-histamine, although the levels were not deemed fatally high.
This finding suggests the possibility that a drug reaction or anaphylactic shock may have played a role in MohBad’s death.
The report also highlighted that the lack of embalming and the eight-day period before the body was exhumed could have influenced the toxicology results.
While anti-histamines are typically used to manage allergy symptoms, they also serve various other medical purposes, including treating stomach issues, colds, and anxiety.
The autopsy report concluded with the acknowledgment that, despite the absence of significant post-mortem evidence, a drug reaction remains a potential cause of death.
