Vinícius Júnior, the Brazilian forward for Real Madrid, has been honored as the Player of the Season in the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League.
His outstanding performances throughout the campaign were instrumental in Real Madrid’s triumphant journey to European glory.
Vinícius contributed six goals and five assists, including a crucial goal in the final against Borussia Dortmund, which secured Real Madrid’s 15th European title.
Reflecting on the achievement, Vinícius expressed his joy: “I’m very happy to win another Champions League with this club, which has given me so much. It’s an incredible thing. Not everyone can experience it and win it so many times.”
Additionally, England midfielder Jude Bellingham was recognized as the “Young Player of the Season” for his impressive debut season with Real Madrid. Bellingham’s four goals and five assists in the Champions League complemented Real’s success in both European and domestic competitions.
He described the moment as “the best night of my life” and acknowledged it as part of a near-perfect season.
