Nigerian artist Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has been released from the Lagos State Police Command’s custody after meeting the bail requirements.
Portable was taken into custody following allegations that he had not completed the payment for a luxury vehicle, a G-Wagon.
The singer, known for his hit ‘Zazzu,’ reportedly made a partial payment of N13 million for the Mercedes Benz GLE 350, valued at N27 million, but did not settle the remaining N14 million.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed Portable’s release, stating, “I have no idea about it but what I can say is that he has been granted bail.”
