Nollywood’s seasoned actress Shan George has successfully reclaimed the ₦3.6 million that was illicitly withdrawn from her account at Zenith Bank on the 3rd of May.
In a heartfelt Instagram live session, George expressed her gratitude:
“I want to thank Zenith Bank for your swift action. I want to thank Opay for being so transparent. I also want to thank Safe Haven Bank, EFCC, Nigerian Police,” she said.
She also extended her thanks to the Nigerian community and those who offered financial support during her time of need.
George has committed to providing further details on the incident and the recovery process in due time.
The recovery comes after a distressing event on May 3, when George urgently sought help via Instagram, revealing that Cecelia Chiagoziem Okoro had allegedly emptied her Zenith Bank account.
Accompanied by a screenshot of the transaction alert, her plea highlighted the dire situation, urging Zenith Bank and her followers for immediate assistance as she faced a financial crisis.
