Nigerian dancer and social media influencer, Anita Chukwumfumnaya Obidi, known as Korra Obidi, is recuperating from a traumatic assault involving a knife and acid while in the United Kingdom.
Obidi revealed that the harrowing incident took place amidst a live streaming session earlier this week.
She shared the distressing experience through a video on her Instagram profile.
In the video, a visibly distressed Obidi is heard pleading, “My face is burning, can I have some coke to wash it please,” as she appears to be in considerable pain.
The footage then captures her urgently rinsing her face with Coca-Cola, presumably in an attempt to mitigate the acid’s corrosive effects.
Subsequently, two uniformed officers are seen in the video, with one administering a soothing solution to Obidi’s face, assuring her, “This will help to reduce the pain.”
Simultaneously, the other officer administers first aid by spraying her back.
Alongside the video, Obidi issued a public plea for information that might lead to the apprehension of the assailant.
She described the attacker as a black female of approximately five feet in height.
Obidi also highlighted that she has been subjected to malicious comments previously, emphasizing that this violent attack serves as a stark reminder of the dangers she faces.
