After seven weeks of partial closure, the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos is scheduled to reopen on April 4, 2024. The bridge, which has been undergoing maintenance, will soon be accessible to traffic once again.
Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, confirmed this development in a statement released yesterday. Commuters and residents can look forward to the restoration of normal traffic flow on this vital bridge connecting different parts of the city.
Osiyemi said: “Dear Lagos Residents, We’re pleased to share that the Third Mainland Bridge will resume full operations on April 4th, 2024, following extensive repairs.
“We sincerely thank you for your patience and cooperation, and we look forward to even smoother travels ahead.”
