Nigerian singer Daniel Benson, popularly known as BNXN, has publicly criticized his Grammy-winning colleague, Wizkid, for allegedly hoarding collaborations with young artists.
The “Finesse” crooner expressed frustration that despite numerous photos and videos showing Wizkid working with emerging talents in the studio, none of these collaborative songs have seen the light of day. Not even a leak, he added.
On his Snapchat page, BNXN posed the question: Every year, n*ggas post pictures and videos with Wiz [Wizkid] in the studio but the songs never ever comes out. Not even a leak lol. And for years too. Why?”
Prominent artists such as Teni, Black, Shallipopi, Rema, Fireboy, Odumodublvck and Bella Shmurda have all been spotted working with Wizkid in the past, yet their collaborative tracks remain unreleased.
The mystery behind this phenomenon continues to perplex fans and fellow musicians alike.
