The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) responded to circulating rumors claiming a decrease in petrol and diesel prices at its retail outlets.

Addressing the issue, Olufemi Soneye, the Chief Communications Officer, assured the public of product availability nationwide. In a statement, NNPCL clarified, “Reports of price adjustments for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and Automotive Gas Oil (Diesel) are false,” urging Nigerians to dismiss them.
NNPCL reiterated its dedication to maintaining petroleum product sufficiency across all retail stations in the country.
