Some residents in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and parts of Kogi State are facing power outages due to technical issues.
The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) covers these affected areas. The AEDC stated that a technical fault on the 33kv feeder k6 from AT9 Karu Transmission Station is the cause of the blackout in Zamani Estate, Abacha Road Mararaba, Ruga Juli, Old Karu Road, Glory Estate, and surrounding areas in Abuja.

In their statement, the AEDC mentioned that the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) maintenance team is actively working to restore electricity to these locations as quickly as possible. They also expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the outage.
