The Niger State Government has announced a public holiday from Monday to Friday of next week.
This holiday is designated to allow civil servants and political office holders to actively participate in the distribution and monitoring of palliatives and Ramadan feeding across various Local Government Areas.
Binta Mamman, the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, conveyed this information in a statement released today in Minna.
She encouraged Nigerlites to utilize this time to pray for peace and tranquility in the state and the nation as a whole.
Mamman urged Civil Servants and Political office holders to view this responsibility as a noble service to humanity.
She also appealed to the public to cooperate with officials and maintain orderliness during the distribution and feeding activities to ensure a smooth and successful operation.
Furthermore, Mamman expressed gratitude to Governor Mohammed Umar Bago for providing the necessary funds for these initiatives and prayed for divine guidance in managing the affairs of the state.
