Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has uncovered a disturbing plot aimed at kidnapping school children and disrupting farming activities across the state.
According to a statement released by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, Governor Adeleke revealed that intelligence reports have indicated a deliberate mobilization of criminal elements in rural areas, posing a significant threat to the safety and well-being of residents.
The statement further disclosed that the nefarious scheme includes targeting schools for abductions and attacks, potentially undermining the implementation of the safe school initiative and essential infrastructure projects.
