On Friday, Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra made the commendable decision to elevate Bayo Ojeyinka, originally from Osun State, to the role of Permanent Secretary within the State’s Civil Service.
This merit-based appointment has garnered acclaim among the state’s civil servants for its justness.
Since concluding his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) assignment in Anambra in 1995, Ojeyinka has been a dedicated member of the state’s public service. His exceptional performance during his NYSC tenure earned him the title of best serving corps member, leading to his retention by the State Government.
In related news, Governor Soludo has also appointed two non-indigenes, a fire chief, and 15 other distinguished professionals as permanent secretaries. The newly appointed permanent secretaries are:
