A morality advocate on X has criticized Herbert Wigwe’s eldest daughter for not standing to greet Vice President Kashim Shettima of Nigeria.
The X user posted a photo showing Tochi Wigwe seated while receiving a handshake from Shettima during one of the events held to mourn the passing of Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba Wigwe, and their son Chizzy Wigwe, who tragically died in a helicopter crash.
The user juxtaposed this with photos of former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and businessman Aliko Dangote standing to shake hands with Shettima.
The user commented: “Same Man, different treatment. Whoever that girl is, she lacks proper upbringing. You don’t shake hands with someone old enough to be your father while sitting down.
“Several other X users from the North also criticized the grieving daughter. However, many came to her defense, pointing out the context of the event and expressing empathy for her in her time of mourning.
