On Thursday, a Super Mushshak training aircraft of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) experienced a minor incident at approximately 2:35 pm.
The mishap took place 3.5 nautical miles from the Kaduna Military airfield and involved two pilots on their way back from standard training exercises.
AVM Edward Gabkwet, the Director of Public Relations and Information, confirmed the event, reassuring that both pilots emerged from the incident without injuries.
Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, the Chief of Air Staff, has since ordered a preliminary investigation to determine the root cause of the accident.
