Skepta, the Nigerian-British rapper, has delivered ‘Tony Montana’, his much-awaited single featuring Portable.
The ‘Bad Energy’ star announced the track’s release on streaming platforms on his social media pages.
Skepta had previously hinted at the collaboration with the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ star and had fans eagerly anticipating the unexpected collaboration.
In ‘Tony Montana’, Skepta and Portable combine two very different sounds.
Skepta showcases his usual wordplay while rapping his bars, moving seamlessly from one line to another.
Portable, meanwhile, adds his unique street palace and sound to the track, giving it a special vibe.
“Tony Tony Tony Montana/ Wacko psycho/ I want to explode/ Fire oh ginger oh/ Somebody pour me water oh/ I dey on my own/ Waka jeje make you no jam my back,” they sing.
Skepta, whose real name is Joseph Olaitan Adenuga, has established himself as a rapper in the music scene.
The 41-year-old has released five albums, five mixtapes, and one collaborative project.
He has also been nominated for several awards, including the Brit Awards.
Portable, on the other hand, rose to fame in December 2021 with the release of ‘Zazoo Zeh’. He has since been involved in some controversies.
