President Bola Tinubu is set to embark on a two-day official visit to Doha on Thursday, following an invitation from Qatari monarch, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The purpose of the visit, as stated by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, is to bolster cooperation between Nigeria and Qatar across various sectors, including security, cultural exchange, and economic development.
President Tinubu will participate in a business and investment forum alongside business communities from both countries, aimed at enhancing bilateral trade and investment opportunities.
The visit will also witness the signing of agreements aimed at promoting Nigeria’s real sector and fostering cooperation in trade, education, culture, solid minerals, digital economy, agriculture, gas, and counter-terrorism.Senior government officials will accompany President Tinubu for the signing of these agreements, further solidifying the diplomatic ties between Nigeria and Qatar.
