The Edo APC Governorship direct primary election has been won by Senator Monday Okpebholo of Edo Central.
The results from the 18 local government areas were collated and declared by Cross River Governor Bassey Otu, who chaired the Edo APC shadow poll.
The venue for the collation and declaration was Lushville Hotel and Suites, located at Gapiona Avenue in the GRA of Benin.
Okpebholo defeated Dennis Idahosa, the House of Representatives member for Ovia constituency, by 12,433 votes to 6,541 votes.
