Tragedy struck on Tuesday morning, February 20, in Ebonyi State when a middle-aged pregnant housewife allegedly pushed her husband to his death from a two-storey building.
The victim, identified as Nwoga Maduabuchi, hailed from Akparata village, Igbeagu community in the Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
He was reported to have been married to the suspect, his second wife, from Uburu community in the Ohaozara Local Government Area, and they resided in Abakaliki, the state capital.

According to sources, the couple was engaged in an argument over a family issue when the suspect allegedly pushed her husband, resulting in his fatal fall.
Another source revealed that the suspect, who was heavily pregnant, frequently quarreled with her late husband, stating, “The second wife was constantly nagging.
“As of now, the state police command has not provided any comments on the incident.
