President Bola Tinubu has given his nod to the appointment of Deputy Comptroller-General (DCG) Kemi Nanna Nandap as the new Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), effective March 1, 2024. Nandap will succeed Mrs. Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju, whose tenure ends on February 29, 2024.
Prior to her elevation to the position of Comptroller-General, Nandap served as the Deputy Comptroller-General overseeing the Migration Directorate of the Service.
The President expects that the incoming Comptroller-General will build upon the ongoing reforms within the service and establish a robust framework for efficient and dedicated service delivery to Nigerians.
Additionally, he anticipates that Nandap will enhance the nation’s security by implementing proactive and effective measures for border security and migration management.
