Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State issued a stern warning to criminals and troublemakers in the state, emphasizing that his administration is unwavering in its commitment to safeguarding the people and maintaining peace and security.
Speaking at a send-forth dinner for Service commanders in Uyo, the governor asserted that any attempts to disrupt the state’s security would be met with decisive action. He highlighted the state’s determination to implement a new security framework to bolster safety measures.

In his address, Governor Eno underscored the readiness of the government to confront criminal elements, even those who may enjoy social status, promising to expose and pursue them relentlessly. He assured residents that the state possesses the necessary intelligence and resources to track down offenders.
The outgoing Service Commanders were thanked for their dedication and service, with the governor expressing gratitude for their sacrifices and commitment to protecting the state. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including the governor’s wife, Deputy Governor, former Deputy Governors, and newly promoted officers from Akwa Ibom State.
