Speaking on behalf of the four candidates, Inuwa, the SDP candidate, announced the decision to reporters in Kaduna on Thursday. He attributed their withdrawal to the exemplary leadership qualities demonstrated by Governor Uba Sani in Kaduna State. He emphasized the ease of lobbying and the subsequent realization of projects for the benefit of residents under the APC-led government.
Inuwa stated, “We believe the APC candidate can deliver the dividends of democracy to our constituency. Governor Uba Sani has shown unparalleled commitment to state development and inclusivity. Aligning our constituency with the ruling party at the House of Assembly will facilitate easier access to democratic benefits.”
Their collective support aims to ensure victory for the APC candidate in the upcoming election on Saturday, with the expectation of fostering development and progress within Chikun Constituency.
